FIRST WORKSHOP ACTIVITY
We taught two different speaking classes to various groups of teachers, and are sharing an example of each below. We want to be clear that these classes are not perfect (what is?!), but rather, examples of student-centered classes that we planned using the 'planning triangle' from sections 4 and 5 of this workshop.

It is very useful as long as the student takes advantage of the virtual form to expand their knowledge and skills. It is a mechanism to apply the skills and knowledge of the subject.
ReplyDeleteNowadays the PC is a basic tool such as work and social communication, Anyone with a computer, a tablet or a smartphone has access to a virtual classroom. It does not matter where in the world the student is, or even if they have any illness or mobility.

ReplyDeleteI think that the technology has had a huge advancement and we as teachers we must use nowadays tools in order to develop students skills. For example in the class that we had the opportunity to participe, I loved it because it was dynamic, all people participated, gave their comments, and I hope that we have much more classes like this.

Virtual education is a challenge mainly in rural areas, for which as teachers we must teach our students to use technological tools in an effective way, today everyone has access to information, but we must help them occupy the necessary information To continue learning, technology allows us to interact with our students and make them contribute ideas as well.

Nowadays technology is a challenger for old teachers specially, because we aren't prepared to take classes on line. But thanks the opportunity you give us I think classes could be dynamic, interesting, motivated, with the tools students like for example, chats, video calls, messages, voices so on.
Inmediately I am going to put in practice knowledges I have learned. You said at the beginning those classes maybe have mistakes but the most important is students participate and lost the fair to speak.
I want to recognize that the pyramid is a very simple useful method to plan classes. As in real time as in virtual classes.
